Clash of the Titans (2010) – Review

The bars were set high for this movie..but a little too high….

Graphics-

The graphics were exellent, but unfortunally the movie wasn’t made for 3D. So it better of saving some money by buying a normal ticket. There isn’t hardly any “oo lemmi try and grab that” moment in this movie, which was a huge dissapointment since we watch a 3D movie purly for that reason. The scorpion looked prety realistic in some scenes and the movement of it seemed natural.
Medusa, looked like she was computer generated, the origianl one had more impact on the audience than this one, that’s my opinion. Throughout the whole movie the Kraken was built up to be this huge and fierce creature which even the Gods are afraid of, but when it was time to show it, it was truly pathetic and a waste of our time. It looked very ugly, it didn’t even look scary.

Acting- Sam Worthington (also acted in Avatar) did a really bad job in this movie. He had the same expression for every single emotion that came to him. When the people of Argon told him that he was a Demi-God, he had a bland and plain expression. When he said he wanted revenge, there was that same expression. After watching Avatar you would think that he would do a fantastic job at this role, but he failed.

So overall I would give this movie a 6/10. Simply because of the bad direction and acting.
